Rushcliffe Homework predominantly caters for the needs of those living in listed, historic, heritage and character homes, or village halls, public houses, small churches and schools. 

Replacing, repairing, refurbishing and sympathetically upgrading interior and exterior woodwork, electrics, plumbing and heating, plastering and rendering including lime. 

Over the past few years we have converted numerous adjoined 17th century properties to work as one household, removing or adding staircases and doorways, decommissioning or adding bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, lounges and libraries. 

We can copy original features and expand on them or install missing character features, build bespoke wardrobes and bookcases in a range of materials, add shaker panelling to staircases, hallways and feature walls, fit window seats and shutters, as well as a range of other improvement works including; Roof tiling and leadwork, fascias and soffits, guttering and drainpipes, wall and floor tiling, wooden or engineered flooring, LVT (vinyl) flooring, screeding and levelling, beam repairs and consolidation, timber splicing, loft insulation, loft conversion and boarding, room creation, roof windows and dormers, timber and composite cladding, stables and outbuildings, fencing and gates. 

We specialise in the refurbishment of wooden and sash windows, including all aspects of repair and consolidation, draught proofing, glazing upgrade and decorating. We have never and will never, repair windows using resin fillers, all repairs are carried out using appropriate and matching Janka-scaled timbers to prolong the life of the framework, providing long-term solutions to failing or failed window casements.
